Job Description

An Offering Manager acts as an entrepreneur, strategist, technical visionary, cross-functional team leader, and client / partner advocate. This role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced Offering Management leader, with expertise and passion around business partner ecosystems, to exercise these skills in a cross-portfolio role.

As the leader of the Analytics Ecosystem Growth team, you will manage a team of senior professionals who work across the Analytics business, with a mission to build business partner ecosystems in Analytics and grow their impact on our business results. You will be the chief evangelist and advocate for the importance of diverse business partner ecosystems in driving our business success. Your mission will be to successfully drive multiple projects with individual Offering Management teams helping them evolve their business partner ecosystems, helping each offering team develop and execute on a plan to increase their ecosystem maturity.

Technology partners are particularly key to your mission, but your efforts should also help resellers, systems integrators, and other business partners succeed with IBM Analytics. Within that broader context, you will be responsible for measuring business partner impact on the total Analytics business, understanding root causes of performance, and driving ongoing improvement of business partner capabilities and programs accordingly.

Deep collaboration with Offering Managers across the portfolio is required, as well as cross-functional interaction with Sales, Marketing, Technical Sales, Services, Development and more. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in the Analytics business (data, governance, integration, data science) as well as experience running successful business partner ecosystems for offerings you have owned in previous roles. You must be a very strong people manager with proven experience successfully leading a team of senior professionals who are geographically distributed.

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by embargo Export Regulations. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following embargoed countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria) on a work permit, you are not eligible for employment in this position.
