IBM Service Line Representative - Hybrid Cloud Services in MARKHAM, Ontario

Job Description

The Hybrid Cloud Services Sales Line Representative is a position in the IBM GTS organization responsible for sales of the IBM Cloud portfolio, Managed Services for Client's Server, Storage, and Cloud Platforms, Data Center Management, and Selected Business Partner Offerings among other capabilities.

What you can expect in the role:

  • This role requires Client interfacing and engagement while selling the Hybrid Cloud Services portfolio to our diverse Clients'

  • Building trust and loyalty with key decision makers

  • Partnering with clients' and conduct “needs analysis” for them

  • Understanding communication needs, business issues and buying motives (compelling reasons to act) of both current and prospective clients'

  • Delivering right solution for client’s evolving business requirements with prompt and efficient services

  • Provide accurate and timely forecast, funnel management, target/objective updates to deliver on territory plans

  • Act as a subject matter expert on the Hybrid Cloud Services portfolio

  • Devising and executing new sales strategies to expand client base

Travel Required

  • 50% Travel will include visiting client's within Ontario. There might be exceptions where the individual may need to travel out of province depending on Client/business requirements from time to time.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • The Hybrid Cloud Services Service Line Representative (SLR) must possess the following Skills: sales/closing skills, business development skills, financial selling skills, significant IT Industry knowledge, large and complex deal skills, significant knowledge of cloud , server, storage, and operating systems, deep understanding of managed services, an ability to work in a matrixed environment, outstanding oral, written, and presentation communication skills, and an ability to team and function in team selling environments as well as sell alone and without assistance.

    • Senior sales experience with large complex deals
    • 10 to15 years in a similar role

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
