Oracle Principal Analyst, Service Product Management in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Summary:

Oracle NetSuite has an exciting service product management opportunity for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to build the next generation of service implementation offerings. Product Management Analyst will be responsible for executing on the Product Management strategy in the service implementation area of services including defining business requirements, working with service teams to translate these to delivery execution and the delivery of service offerings in specified timelines.

An ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication, prioritization, cross-functional team collaboration, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with customers to build the next generation of service implementation offerings that drive ARR and high quality service delivery

  • Proactively define and drive the creation of new service implementation offerings that customers love.

  • Create use cases, user stories, and detailed product requirements document that clearly articulate desired service capability.

  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Education Services, Managed Services, and Support to deliver great products and tools for both the customers as well as partners.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and competitive environment.

  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize product enhancements, customer and partner requests by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Services and Support to successfully rollout out products and ensure a great end-to-end customer experience.


Qualifications/Skills:



  • Must be a self-motivated team player

  • Ability to gather complex customer requirements and translate requirements into a detail plan for execution

  • Experience in 2 of the following functional areas: Professional Services delivery, Consulting, or Technical Solution development

  • Over 4 years of professional services, or IT business application, delivery and management

  • Over 2 years of consulting services delivery and management

  • Experience working in a matrix/collaborative environment

  • Experience with or knowledge of NetSuite s SuiteSuccess implementation methodology a plus

  • BA Business Administration or BS Engineering required. MBA a plus.
