Oracle Client Partner – HCM Solutions – Oracle Consulting Services in Matawan, New Jersey

This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given practice that can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability. Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives. Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages multiple first line managers and/or senior level individual contributors. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.

10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience. Direct line Management experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client Partner (CP) will play a pivotal role in OracleConsulting s transformation, being the ambassador to the top Oracle ConsultingServices (OCS) accounts, as well as representing our new brand: Get CloudConfident.

The CP will be one of the key roles in Oracle responsible forevangelizing and delivering Oracle s HCM Cloud platform and OCS capabilities.

This is a senior leadership role within the OCS organizationresponsible for raising the bar across OCS as a whole, and specifically MarketDevelopment, while working in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

S/he is responsible for: Establishing deep relationships attargeted clients, driving new OCS bookings as well as solidifying renewals& extensions through delighted customers, architecting world-classsolutions, and ensuring they are implemented effectively and creating value forclients. This is a unique opportunity to engage and transform our clientrelationships, focused on HCM, articulating our value proposition to clients,and delivering solutions to address client needs. Additionally, the CPwill be responsible for representing OCS and driving strategic relationshipswith all internal stakeholders including Sales, Product Development, Marketing,and others to establish OCS as a trusted advisor and partner.

S/he will bring extensive consulting, sales, and deliveryexperience in the HCM Cloud application space to which will allow quickidentification of common issues within HR, quantify the value of solving thebusiness problem, and design solutions (repeatable) that solve the businessissue.

S/he will be responsible for partnering with Growth and Strategyleadership, Go-to-Market, Customer Advocacy, Delivery leaders, and Cloud Salesteams to significantly accelerate the growth of the business, disrupt standardprocesses, and exceed client expectations.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

This role will align to both net new growth and existing topOracle Consulting Services (OCS) accounts and as a result, a key portion of therole will be focused on growing install base accounts, opening dormantaccounts, and growing a " book of business" in order to develop astrong revenue backlog and individual annuity. As the Client Partner, therewill also be a requirement to handle escalations on delivery, as well as bechargeable as an advisor on strategic projects.

In this role, the successful candidate will generate demand forOracle Consulting service offerings, develop opportunity execution plans,identify and manage key team members and resources from across our matrixedorganization to properly scope the project(s) to meet client needs and Oraclebusiness parameters, and manage the customer relationship(s) from initial salesdiscussions through successful delivery.

The successful candidates own the OCS business for a set of topaccounts and operate in an extremely entrepreneurial manner. Territoryplanning, interlock with the HCM Application Sales team, account developmentand lead generation are all critical components to success.

Additional responsibilities will include forecasting contractbookings, accurate and timely reporting in CRM & other appropriate systems,and managing accounts receivables for your individual account portfolio.

WORK EXPERIENCE

This is a senior level, pursuit leadership role and requires aseasoned professional with varied career experiences including a combination ofat least 12 years of HCM Consulting, Services, Delivery and sales experiencewithin a consulting organization with a strong track record of new accountdevelopment, selling consulting services, and managing a portfolio ofengagements.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

BA/BS; MS comparableis strongly preferred

Big 4 (or equivalentconsulting firm) experience strongly preferred
