Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.
As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
Engagement Director, Value Services Group
Oracle's Value Consultants are a key member of the pre-sales team. They will be supporting Oracle's Integrated Value Services (IVS) Engagement Model with each customer interaction.
Value Consultants must have an executive presence and must be able to identify prior successful executive interaction. Value Consultants will bridge customer challenges to Oracle capabilities and identified/quantified value. Value Consultants must possess business case skills with prior benchmarking experience.
Responsible for the delivery execution for one of our NAA Shared Services Value Service offerings (STANDARD, GROUP, ENTERPRISE):
Representation, execution, innovation, and management. Manages a cross-functional team of Value consultants (CX/HCM/ERP) for their offering- Interviewing, Hiring, Training, Mentoring, Coaching, Support, Discipline, Incentives, Rewards, MBOs, Travel, PTO
Manages all aspects of the engagement life cycle for their offering Model, Assignment, Positioning, Tracking, Reporting, Field Alignment and Customer Engagement.
Manages cross functional program management life cycle for the Value Services Group - model, assignment, positioning, tracking, reporting, timeline, delivery and partnerships.
Collaborates directly with Executive Sales Leadership/GTM pillar teams and other Value Consultant Engagement Managers to represent the Value Services Group:
Strategizes on engagement opportunities for key accounts
Provides frequent reports on engagements and investment status/outcomes
Participates in strategic planning meetings
Partners across the ecosystem to streamlined alignment the sales activities
Collaborates on transformational projects across the Value Services Group and Global Organization:
- Guidance, development, participation, investment tracking, conflict resolution, partnership
