Responsible for assisting the Vice President of Quality Services with tasks and activities related to disease specific certification, policies and procedures and clinical performance audits. Activities/functions include pertinent clinical reviews, managing/analyzing data, and compiling reports, conducting facility investigations, assisting with pertinent education activities, facilitating Joint Commission survey activities, and participating and/or facilitating performance improvement committees, teams, task forces.
It is the responsibility of each employee to maximize the resources of the hospital. As a member of MEDICAL CITY MCKINNEY team, the employee makes a significant contribution to the public’s perception of the hospital. Performs additional tasks/activities as assigned.
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing. Clinical nursing experience preferred. Three years of recent quality management experience preferred.
Current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State ofTexas.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Demonstrates effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle stressful environment and multiple projects simultaneously. Computer skills that includes Microsoft Office, Word/Excel/PowerPoint. Able to perform administrative and general clerical duties as assigned.
