Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Commercial Excellence & Experience in McLean, VA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Developing dashboard wireframes and designing requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Designing sub-components of larger application systems. Carrying out Salesforce.com development, administration, solution design, data modeling, data management, business requirements gathering and analysis. Working on building of Visualforce pages and controllers to incline as per requirements and working on development of Apex batch classes, triggers, controllers and controller extensions. Implementing of Salesforce to Salesforce integration and integrating third-party applications with Salesforce using Apex REST (representational state transfer) API (application programming interface) and SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) API. Working on integration data and field mappings to ensure data integrity in data transfer and exchange. Working on data migration and data upload to production using Apex Data Loader, Workbench and Informatica Data Loader and scheduling and maintaining of data import batches from Informatica to Salesforce. Working on end-to-end implementation of Salesforce.com Service Cloud Community portal in design, development, testing, deployment of Apex Classes, Visualforce pages, Controllers and Triggers and performing Unit, Regression, and User Acceptance testing in Sandbox environments. Performing code reviews and best practice analysis and working on the development of Lead Management, Case Management, Opportunity Management and Sales Process enhancement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT or a related field.

  • One year of experience as a Consultant, a Technical Consultant or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have one year of experience with:

  • Carrying out Salesforce.com development, administration, solution design, data modeling, data management, business requirements gathering and analysis;

  • Working on building of Visualforce pages and controllers to incline as per requirements and working on development of Apex batch classes, triggers, controllers and controller extensions;

  • Implementing of Salesforce to Salesforce integration and integrating third-party applications with Salesforce using Apex REST (representational state transfer) API (application programming interface) and SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) API;

  • Working on integration data and field mappings to ensure data integrity in data transfer and exchange;
