Focuses on assisting those organizations that areresponsible for the delivery, funding and payment management of health care andmedical related services. Clients include hospitals, academic medical centers,health systems, home health agencies, long term care, outpatient facilities,ambulatory surgery centers, practitioners and physician groups as well ashealth plans, other health insurance companies, and pharmacy benefit managers(PBMs).

Work you ll do

Managers are professionals with strong records ofacademic and professional achievement who have the capacity and desire forcontinuous development and growth. Deloitte Consulting professionals must alsobe capable of working and communicating with people at all levels of anorganization. Responsibilities typical of a manager on one of these projectscould include:

Participatein setting engagement objectives and scope

Overseework plans for multiple components of an engagement

Manageactivities between work streams

Provideguidance to junior practitioners as they manage large, confidential and complexdata sets

Conductclient interviews and facilitate client meetings

Developprocess flows depicting pain points in the business process

Conductdetailed analyses to draw conclusions, and develop pertinent and insightfulrecommendations

Designand manage deliverable content to reflect the engagement contract

Presentfindings and recommendations to client leadership

Mentorand develop junior staff

The type ofwork we provide to our clients includes Operations Excellence, Payment &Care Model Innovation and Emerging Business Models.

Professionals willuse their deep sector knowledge and technical business operations consultingexperience to take a more strategic view of our clients priorities, helpingthem to prepare for growth, embrace the digital agenda and maximize operationalefficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor sdegree from accredited university

Minimumof 8 years of professional experience in revenue cycle operations in a healthcare, consulting, or technology vendor environment

Demonstratesconsistent career progression with increasing levels of responsibility

Performedabove expectations in previous professional roles

Competentin Microsoft suite of Business Software, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

Willingnessand ability to travel 80%

Must livewithin commuting distance to one of Deloitte s consulting offices

Limited Sponsorship

Preferred:

Experiencein one or more the following revenue cycle functions: Patient Access, ChargeIntegrity and Patient Financial Services

Experiencein Clinical Documentation Improvement initiatives

Proficiencyand experience with financial, billing and reimbursement data

Proficiencyand experience with analytics, digital and robotics/process automation toimprove revenue cycle outcomes while reducing costs

Experiencewith hospital financial and patient accounting systems, such as EPIC, Cerner,Soarian, SMS, McKesson, Invision, HBOC, MEDITECH, and Eclipsys

Excellentundergraduate academic record (GPA 3.5 )

Advanceddegree in business or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA) from a toptier program

5 yearsof management consulting experience in a health care related field

Professionalcompetence in Microsoft Access

Superiorcritical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptionalinterpersonal, team-building and communication skills

Abilityto build consensus and foster change in a client business setting

Tolerancefor working in ambiguous, uncertain environments

Commitmentto personal and professional growth

Sense ofresponsibility to self, team and client
