ACEOM is seeking a Security Specialist to provide direct support to the Security Supervisor. Must work within established procedures and standards for the Security Branch. Confidentially is the top responsibility.
As the Security Specialist, the individual will be responsible for the following:
Perform pre-hire screening of applicants and able to make adjudicative-like determinations on clearance eligibility
Execute security briefings and training for all new employees
Process and review security clearance paperwork for initial investigations and periodic reinvestigations
Maintain personnel security files and database, Access Commander, that assists in preparing reports to the Customer
Administer Security Program in accordance with NISPOM procedures
Schedule customer briefings, investigation interviews and polygraphs.
Create Company ID and access badges and administer access control system.
Investigate Security violations/infractions.
Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions
Ability to write correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
High school diploma required
Two years work experience performing security inspections, security investigations and security program review and security administration in large, complex organizations with a workforce of 300 or more
Must be a U. S. Citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Experience processing personnel security investigation packets, and maintaining files.
Knowledge of handling classified materials in a sensitive working environment
Ability to interview potential candidates to determine eligibility for program requirements
Bachelor Degree is preferred
Current Top Secret clearance is highly desired
