Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You ll Do
Assist in creating technology solutions to meet the business needs of clients. Gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities. Under supervision, define systems strategy and develop system requirements. Help design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. As part of a team, perform full system development life cycle implementations. Aid with providing solution development and application architecture. Facilitate the performance of business process analysis, mapping, and design. Analyze and perform current state system analysis. Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, and development to testing and go live. Perform defect management and tracking in JIRA and JAMA. Conduct functional and regression testing in Katalon, HP Quality Centre, and QuickTest Professional. Perform defect analysis by meeting with functional and development team members, identify any required changes, confirm with business users, and conduct tests. Write SQL queries to carry out report and non-report testing, perform data replication, and generate pivots for analyzing data. Prepare and maintain quality documents, defect prevention and risk monitoring logs. Manually perform Graphical User Interface (UI) testing and UI validation. Review test cases to ensure requirements are met and create traceability matrix. Collaborate with team leads to identify gaps and constraints associated with business requirements and assist in providing solutions to resolve process issues. Utilize Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle processes in Waterfall and Agile methodology (Scrum). Identify and report testing risks, issues, mitigation and contingencies and analyze results against functional design and expected results.
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT, MIS, CIS or a related field.
One year of experience as a Solution Specialist, a Business Analyst or a related occupation.
Must have one year of experience with:
Performing defect management and tracking in JIRA and JAMA;
Conducting functional and regression testing in Katalon, HP Quality Centre, and QuickTest Professional;
Performing defect analysis by meeting with functional and development team members, identifying any required changes, confirming with business users, and conducting tests;

15% travel required.
