An exciting new opportunity for a motivated and experienced Administration Operations Leader to manage the overall responsibility and accountability for delivering of client, fund and customer service excellence in accordance with contracted administration services whilst working within a collaborative, flexible and inclusive environment. About the Role: Reporting to the Operations and Transformation Leader, the role of the Administration Operations Leader forms a core part of Senior Operations Leadership team. The key responsibility of this role will be to establish, grow and manage a high performing, efficient and quality focused operations team. You will provide strategic direction to Managers, ensuring high productivity through workforce management, excellent client and customer service focus and continuance improvement. In this role you will also: Provide leadership to and influence own management team in support of the business goals and model the Mercer leadership behaviours Support financial budgets and contribute to the commercial aspects of ensuring profitable operations are achieved Perform a key senior role in supporting and managing offshore team relationship and services Contribute to establishment and delivery of yearly Operating plans focused on delivering successful business outcomes aligned with strategic operating plans Be responsible for staff retention and engagement levels, the management of business risk and the maintenance of positive and collaborative working relationships within and across teams in the wider Wealth business Manage key relationships with clients to ensure contracted services are met About You: In this role, the suitable candidate will need to have: At least 8+ years’ experience in an Operations leadership role within the Superannuation industry Be experienced in managing large operation teams (100+) with demonstrated success Strong Continuous Improvement experience with the ability to run a successful business is essential Highly developed leadership and mentoring skills for optimal project resource and team performance Is resilient, adaptable and flexible to the demands of an organization in a period of significant growth Exceptional at leadership and influencing skills with strong business acumen and stakeholder management Experience in managing complex client relationships About Mercer: At Mercer, we make a difference in the lives of more than 110 million people every day by advancing their health, wealth, and careers.
