Your Opportunity

Content Development Project Editor

Based in Melbourne, Victoria

Part-Time working 4 days (30 hours) per week

Our team in Melbourne has an exciting opportunity for a Content Development Project Editor to support with delivering high-quality assessment content including a variety of question types and case studies for our clients’ certification exams.

You will report to the Manager of the content development team and collaborate as a confident and skilled Content Developer / Project Editor. You will liaise directly and meet with our client stakeholders to identify and understand their requirements, ensuring our teams of subject matter experts (SMEs) are engaged to produce all deliverables within deadlines. You will assist with recruiting and training SMEs for item writing and reviewing content. You’ll also facilitate meetings with the client and SMEs, reviewing, revising and approving content.

As Content Development Project Editor, you will be supported by a project manager, but it will be your job to delegate and coordinate tasks to SMEs and as well as an editor to ensure content meets the requirements. As a member of the content development team, you will also be encouraged to play an active part in continuous improvement of business processes.

You will work with excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring tasks are documented and that we are compliant with all required client specifications. You will oversee documentation relating to the item production process ensuring the security of all material is maintained.

This is a career-changing opportunity therefore we are looking for a confident and skilled team-player with the ability to build and develop excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Naturally, you will be confident managing various projects, ensuring exceptional client service is delivered and deadlines are always met.

It would be advantageous to have experience or knowledge of assessments / exam development. We are also interested in applicants with a background in education, e-learning, or training. It would be an advantage to be educated to degree-level and with experience using both Microsoft and Google office suites.
