An exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Finance, Portfolio Planning & Resource Manager to provide portfolio level oversight, structure and delivery across programs and projects within Mercer Pacific.
About the Role: Reporting to the Planning, Governance & Analyst Leader, this role sits within the Mercer Project Management Office (PMO) focusing on the delivery of repeatable successful projects using a consistent methodology within a framework that encompasses both continuous process improvement and benefits tracking. In addition, you will also:
Ensure effective financial tracking and management of the project portfolio and underlying programs of work Manage all resource allocations including resource planning and forecasting for the entire PMO resource pool and other key delivery resources Deliver on the annual Strategic Planning & Execution Team’s portfolio planning process through engagement with stakeholders, sponsors, resource owners, delivery teams, business owners, and leadership groups Identify and implement process improvements to the annual planning cycle QualificationsAbout You: To be successful in this role, you will have:
5-10 years’ financial services experience in a commercial analysis or financial reporting role Prior demonstrated experience in financial management, scheduling and resource management roles in a Project Management Office environment
Advanced Excel modelling and reporting skills
Ability to collate and present data and financial information into decision making processes for stakeholders and executive committees
Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
