Position Description

The Consulting Solution Architect will be responsible for strategic value-add customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. To achieve this, the architect would support best-in-class customer engagement and enable the expansion of the Oracle customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strong, lasting and collaborative relationships with the Oracle Sales Management and Field organization, Oracle Direct and other LOB’s to ensure the success of the ANZ Consulting

  • Build customer relationships to ensure high service delivery

  • Winning deals

  • Successful Delivery paving way for Expansion

  • Manage issues between Oracle and customers to achieve positive outcome and influence policy

  • Ensure Business Growth and Secure Market leadership

Your Skills & Experience

You must have a strong track record with 10 years architecting experience with substantial interaction experience with senior customer executives and decision makers. We are seeking application who have Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus with an ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level. Applicant must have Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience with ability to travel as needed.

  • Strong track record with Architecting and project delivery experience

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Knowledge of Oracle’s products/solutions and competitive products

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to work within a highly competitive and complex environment

  • Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies including senior level executives, legal, technical, finance, support, sales and marketing experts

  • High levels of energy, creativity and enthusiasm

  • Technical expertise and broad company knowledge

  • Strong people/communication skills

  • BS / MS degree

  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated person with a desire to work in a start-up environment

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
