This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an innovative new online learning service that Pearson has launched in Australia. Working in partnership with universities across the country, the division provides online learning services including marketing, student recruitment, course content development, training and ongoing student support.

The Salesforce System Administrator is the administrator of the SalesForce.com database and application environment within the Australian Online Program Management (OPM) team. The position is the liaison between the Global Higher Ed Managed Services Team, our support vendor and the marketing, student recruitment and student support functions within the Australian OPM team.

You will responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Configuring and enhancing the Salesforce.com application, leveraging experience with built-in admin, reporting, and development tools

  • Maintain data integrity through de-duplication, standardisation, verification as well as the importing and exporting of data

  • Provide level 1 technical support for Marketing Cloud and any other integrated platforms and applications

  • Analyze user requirements and issues and provide best fit solutions while maintaining the integrity of the existing applications.

  • Create and maintain users, customise and implement profiles, security settings, roles and data sharing rules

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • You will have at least three to five years’ commercial experience working as a SalesForce administrator and have a strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality

  • You will be a Salesforce Certified Administrator (ideally advanced) and hold a Bachelor in IT or similar

  • Experience using data loader and de-duplication tools and an understanding of relational databases and database integrity tools

  • Excellent project management and organisation skills

  • Outstanding troubleshooting/problem solving skills

  • Ability to prioritise workload, gather and analyse detailed information, think logically and in a process oriented fashion
