Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Melbourne office: Senior Implementation Services Specialist What can you expect? This role delivers high quality that enable valued business outcomes and informed decisions by key stakeholders. Typical activities include planning, requirements elicitation and documentation, requirements lifecycle management, facilitation of solution design, requirements validation and traceability, stakeholder management and providing support to other teams involved in the project delivery. This role is an integral part of the Delivery function. It contributes to ensuring that the Delivery function meets the needs of the organization and clients / customers. What is in it for you? 35 hour working week Leading training and development program Fruit baskets twice a week, coffee, biscuits and great break out areas Brand new agile workspace in Collins Square Professional environment where your career path really matters and is supported in our global organization Great team environment with energetic and supportive colleagues Genuine work life balance In this role you will be responsible for: Perform Planning activities to determine the best approach and techniques for self on the project Analyse requirements, solution analysis and estimate of effort for detailed quotes within the analysts’ expertise Elicit, analyse and document requirements using appropriate techniques Perform stakeholder analysis and establish strong stakeholder relationships Ensure requirements traceability is managed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle Perform solution analysis to ensure that solution meets the needs of the requirements Prepare functional and technical specifications, including mapping for all registry and ancillary systems Manage the provision of information to establish the agreed data integration platform, liaising with the Data Analyst and external stakeholders where required Establish a process for ensuring accurate member records MIC management and asset transfer Identify opportunities to uplift value from existing solution We would like you to have: Experience in using collaboration and work flow tools, incl. JIRA and Confluence Methodology Knowledge: Demonstrate capability in multiple analysis methodologies. Use active listening and discovery skills to understand “real” issues/needs and build chemistry. Systems Thinking: Leverage holistic view of people, processes and technology to understand the enterprise. Decision Making: Make the best decision based on appropriate criteria; business needs, opportunities, risk, compliance, and ability to achieve the desired outcome. Visual Thinking: Communicate complex concepts and data as understandable. Written Communication: Demonstrate well prepared, stakeholder-focused written communication.
