Sydney or Melbourne location Career path opportunities Exciting opportunity to join our team who is responsible for the development and support of Mercer’s market leading investment tools across the Pacific. The team provides a high level of client servicing to both clients and prospects of these services as well as supporting internal consultants who are engaged in providing advice around Mercer’s intellectual capital (market intelligence).    The suite of software tools includes the Global Investment Manager Database (GIMD™), MercerInsight®, Global Client Database (GCDB) and Mercer IS (Wealth Management). Our typical client base includes large pension funds, manager of managers, sovereign wealth funds, investment managers and wealth managers, financial planners as well as our consulting colleagues.   Responsibilities include: Provide exceptional support to internal and external users of our investment and analytical tools Assist with other database management activities, such as liaising with local and global colleagues and external investment managers in regards to the maintenance of the Global Investment Manager Database and other tools and databases Manage various inboxes and manage team workflow/deliverables  Assist the Pacific team in proactively identifying processes and activities that can be streamlined or improved Complete invoicing for clients and liaise with finance and internal consultants to ensure clients are billed correctly in a timely manner Assist the broader business in projects and activities from time to time as required About You   To be a positive force in this role you will need to be an enthusiastic, adaptable, self-motivated team player that thrives on challenges, able to work under pressure and have the nous to "think outside the box". Guiding and supporting you will be passionate, experienced leaders who genuinely care about their team and quality outcomes for clients. Tertiary qualification in a finance related field would be advantageous. Client Service experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills and Intermediate Microsoft office is preferred. The ability to show initiative and strong analytical, problem-solving skills will help you succeed in this role.
