We re seeking anOracle Fusion Middleware Architectto join our OPERA Cloud Engineering team. As an Oracle Fusion Middleware Architect, you will help lead a team you will apply your expertise and energy to architect and design key components of the Hotel Product Suites. You will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. In this highly collaborative environment, you will be leading a team and will be expected to interact and learn their areas of responsibility so that you can provide insight into their work products.
Architect, analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for assigned functional areas of the application and related framework.
Able to explain software functionality from a user s or customer s perspective. Respond to feature and functionality questions from the various channels, including both internal/external customers and vendors.
May have project lead role and supervise lower level personnel.
May provide guidance, assistance, and technical leadership to lower level software engineers on more complex/large projects.
External interfaces include vendor support, engineering groups, project managers, and occasionally customers.
Occasionally designs and presents technical presentations to a variety of audiences.
Interact, liaise, and communicate status updates through development cycles.
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related (Ideally in computer science or engineering)
7 years of IT experience.
Experience in architect and leading, minimum one application using Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies
Experience in SOAP Services and REST APIs
Oracle Database programming including Database design, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Experience in Oracle SOA and Oracle Service Bus
Working knowledge of Cloud technologies
Proficiency in J2EE and MVC pattern
Exposure to Identity and access management technologies
Completion of a minimum of one full life cycle development projects
