Eaton Corporation Distribution Channel Manager, Industrial Controls in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Eaton’s Electrical Products Group is seeking a Distribution Channel Manager, Industrial Controls. The Distribution Channel Manager will be based at our Menomonee Falls, WI facility.

Position Overview:

The Distribution Channel Manager will be responsible to develop and lead marketing and sales strategies, communications, and growth programs with the Industrial Controls channel partners to exceed sales growth goals, increase profitability, and improve product mix.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategy and programs to Industrial Control channel partners.

  • Set growth goals for existing channel partners including specific products, segments, and customer penetration targets.

  • Analyzes sales trends through market research and feedback from sales and marketing and initiates proactive and/or corrective actions to assure sales objectives are met.

  • Identifies conversion opportunities at our channel partners and manages conversion process.

  • Establishes into stock pricing policy and implementation.

  • Manages Eaton Distributor Advantage Program (EDAP) distributor funds and sales goals.

  • Sets direction for Distributor Sales Representative sales organization’s Industrial Controls Division (ICD) initiatives

  • Leads channel engagement activities

  • Works with Eaton University team and ICD to ensure training needs and abilities meet our partners expectations.

  • Ensures our channel partners are properly trained on ICD products.

  • Manage ICD’s target market planning process including formation and execution of agreements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 5 years of electrical experience

  • Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license

  • Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Position Criteria:

  • Knowledge of Industrial control components

  • Work experience with electrical channel partners

  • Understanding of competitive offerings and channel programs

  • Strong understanding of business fundamentals and finance

  • Skilled in time management

  • Robust presentation, training and communications skills

  • Experience utilizing Value Added selling techniques
