AT&T is looking for a Global Account Manager .

This is a direct sales hunting position; this role generates/develops existing growth business and new sales revenue penetrating new acquisition/low revenue share customers.This sales person requires a Self-Starter attitude that will deliver creative consultative solutions to solve customers’ strategic business priorities and fill customers gap while offering ATT’s products/services/systems and more.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

Primary objective is to be disciplined enough to prospect, be on customer premise, don’t take no for an answer.This sales person must be a great listener and understand customers business needs to provide consultative solutions while creating new sales.Its imperative for this person to understand the vast products offered by AT&T to obtain customer meetings and offer solutions that are part of the ATT products/services/systems portfolio.The responsibility of this salesperson must be a great listener to provide insightful and inquisitive solutions and at the same time create a trusted environment where the customer sees AT&T as its general solution provider.

With the aid of support resources, this person must be a progressive qualifier that identifies strategic sales opportunity with solutions that attribute to local billed revenue. Builds/maintains a network of colleagues/customers to share information, obtain new prospects. May support resolution of customer disputes and accounts receivable discrepancies (i.e. Billing/installation/customer issues). Delivers product presentations, that include managed services, security, Wi-Fi, voice and collaboration products and more.Demonstrates a broad and strong working knowledge of entire product portfolio AT&T has to offer.Has the ability to partners with clients to understand business needs, issues, strategies, priorities, delivering valuable solutions. Works on responses to Request for Proposals. Identifies key trends and customer requirements to leverages industry knowledge and applications, utilizes consultative skills to close sales for assigned accounts in accordance with company policy, procedures and culture. Owns account relationship; responsible for meeting new sales and revenue objectives. Demonstrates sustained record of sales achievement. Effectively influences customers, diffusing potential problems. Develops strategic initiatives to grow and retain the revenue stream of assigned highly complex accounts/projects while ensuring customer satisfaction with considerable latitude. Supports the sales team through coaching or mentoring. Assists less experienced peers. Lead when presenting products/services to existing or prospective customers.

This job role applies to employees who spend more than 80% of their time performing duties directly related to making sales with customers, at customer place of business and in the office and meeting corporate targets.Sales are measured by net dollars sold.

Duties directly related to making sales include: Meeting with customers and engaging in sales, activities at customer site; communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales,etc.;traveling to/from the customer premise for sales activities; providing subject matter expertise on technical sales issues; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs; preparing proposals/presentations/bids, including developing pricing/strategic plans and proposed solutions/sales; researching/developing solutions with ATT external partners, including design/engineering; researching customer business/industry to identify

new sales opportunities.
