IBM Trade Compliance Professional in MEXICO CITY, Mexico
Your Role and Responsibilities
'- Assure all the shipments accomplish with country and international regulations for import and export to avoid having any fees or penalties for IBM, following the security process , identify all process risk
Support implementation of business decisions related to Global Logistics operations. Support Brand Advocates, STS team, Eng, claims, supply assurance in all global logistics requirements . Support E2E Logistics operations .
Works and coordinate Global logistics supplier(s) that supports NA operations for shipments IN/OUT of North america. Responsible and focal point for our internal clients providing logistics solutions.
Escalate when needed with our logistics supplier in order to provide.
This position requires skills to assist with deployment of architect supply chain solutions. It supports supply chain management across the extended enterprise and collaborative network from market opportunity for new solutions through management of cash flow.
Supports implementation of business decisions that balance supply chain effectiveness in terms of customer service and total supply chain cost optimization.
Supports supply chain planning, management and measurement of activities involved in sourcing, conversion, and logistics management and includes products, services and solutions and related information.
Participates in the development and implementation of supply chain initiatives as a part of a major business transformation activity or strategic, innovative, end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Contributes to IBM customer engagements and / or outsourcing projects. Due to cross functional background in supply chain, this position impacts multiple supply chain functions.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
General skills on logistics and Trade Compliance
Fluent English language and communications skills (reading, speaking and writing) are essential for this particular role where worldwide collaboration is required.
Demonstrated skills for program or project management .
Demonstrated business maturity and is comfortable presenting plans, progress and results concisely to peers, management and executives.
The candidate needs to be a self starter and very organized with the ability to create, document and follow procedures to ensure on time implementation of legal and other IBM requirements applicable to Global Logistics.
Ability to communicate in English
Team work and support other operations in LA GL
MS Office (dinamic tables, test, formulas...)
Support Month/quarter/Year end activities, even if any is during weekend, holidays.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Skill in Mexico customs law
Experience in customs operations.
Responsible for business case development of supply chain solutions for less complex projects or assists in business case development for supply chain solutions and strategic supply chain initiatives. 4. Supports implementation of transformation programs.
Uses key methodologies to improve supply chain performance.
Assists in identification, analysis and/or solution of complex business problems and presents innovative supply chain solutions.
