TTEC (formerly TeleTech) is seeking an experienced Investigator to join our HR Compliance team in Mexico.

Position Summary

The HR Compliance team oversees the Corporate Compliance Program, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. The HR Compliance investigator is charged with: 1) conduct and document effective, thorough and objective investigations of employee relations issues, health and safety issues (including Workers’ Compensation matters), and fraud; 2) analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR Business Partners and Operations partners to develop solutions, programs and policies. 3) update and deliver awareness programs that promote desired behavior; 4) influencing clients to improve systems and processes and 5) liaising with Legal department to ensure compliance with applicable law and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Investigates internal allegations of company policy violations, such as discrimination, harassment and fraud, and recommends an appropriate response to complaints from the compliance line

• Manages investigations beginning-to-end, including intake meetings, background research, investigative interviews, generating comprehensive reports, and making recommendations on how to address non-compliant behaviors. This could include occasionally participating and leading conversations outside of core daytime hours

• Makes recommendations within company policy, practices, precedents, procedures and applicable laws

• Develops and conducts educational sessions for team members on talent relations issues, company compliance initiatives and policies

• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR Business Partners and Operations leaders to develop solutions, programs and policies

• Updates and delivers awareness programs that promote desired behavior

Education & Experience:

• Five years of employment investigation or related experience required

• Related advanced degree preferred (BS/BA in Business, Criminal Justice, CFE -certified fraud examiner- or equivalent work experience)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of labor laws, ADA, FMLA, employment, and other related human resource legislation

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Advanced English level

• Good proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office products

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills

• Demonstrated success as an investigator in a highly matrixed environment that includes both salaried and hourly staff

• Ability to work on multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
