Consulting Staff Managing Principal

As a

recognized authority and leader within Resource Management, this

senior level position provides consistent high quality and

innovative resourcing leadership. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and

techniques to staff project roles with

the best fit consultants in the most advantageous timeframe for customer

success. Responsible for presenting

available internal and sometimes external resources (offshore, near shore, and

contractors) to fit project demand and budget.

Effectively partners with and influences decisions of Consulting

management to maximize revenue opportunities, achieve the highest utilization,

and increase customer satisfaction. Demonstrates

broad and deep knowledge of consulting skill sets across all supported Oracle

product and service lines.

Requires

strong understanding of the tools available to be able to provide statistical

trend data in terms of open requirements, bench, availability, project staffing

mix of resources, skills coverage, resume status, etc, as needed for management. Uses statistical trends to proactively

identify resourcing issues for the LOB and drives resolution.

Acts

as a resourcing business partner to a practice leader and to a country delivery leader.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years ofresource management or related experience

  • Business degree or related experience

  • Industry experienceis a plus

  • Strong communication skills

  • Multi-tasking withgood organizational and problem solving skills

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client

  • s satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.

Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Services include identifying needs, developing, influencing and implementing proposals. Able to lead, support and participate on project teams.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. A BS or BA in related fields. 7-9 years overall experience in functional or technical role. Two years experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Willing to travel regionally with some national travel.
