Consulting Staff Senior

Preferred Qualifications

An experienced

professional with a thorough understanding of Resource Management and how it

fits in the Consulting business.

Performs varied and complex duties and tasks requiring independent

judgment, in order to staff project roles with the best fit consultants in the

most advantageous timeframe for customer success. Responsible for presenting available

internal and external resources (offshore, near shore, and

contractors) to fit project demand and budget.

Effectively partners with Consulting management to maximize revenue

opportunities, achieve the highest utilization, and increase customer

satisfaction. Uses knowledge of Oracle

Consulting procedures and methodology, leading staffing practices, and

creativity to solve a wide range of problems. Able to understand, at a high

level, required consulting skill sets across all supported Oracle product and

service lines.

Requires

strong understanding of the tools available to be able to provide statistical

trend data in terms of open requirements, bench, availability, project staffing

mix of resources, skills coverage, resume status, etc, as needed for

management. Uses statistical trends to

proactively identify resourcing issues for the practice and make

recommendations to management for resolution.

Act as a resourcing business partner to a

practice leaders and to a Country delivery leader.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of resource management or related experience

  • Business degree or related experience

  • Industry experience is a plus

  • Full excel domain

  • Linkedln domain

  • strong communication skills

  • Multi-tasking with good organizational and problem solving skills

  • Ability to handle potentially confrontational situations with patience, diplomacy and tact

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Proficient in the development and use of spreadsheets, with expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel preferred

  • Ability to document requirements and processes

  • Fluent in English

  • Working knowledge of Procurement Contracts

  • Recruiting experience in Mexico market

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client

  • s satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.

Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Has subject matter knowledge of relevant implementation responsibility. Has database, core applications and web technology knowledge. Has specific experience in implementing Oracle solutions and in systems integrations.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. A BS or BA in related fields. 3-6 years overall experience in functional or technical role. One year experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Willing to travel regionally with some national travel.
