CBRE Research Analyst in Miami, Florida
Provide research and analysis support of commercial real estate markets. The role will encompass certain regular tasks around the collection and analysis of core data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the team's production and delivery of research material.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general direction, analyzes data on the organization's existing and potential markets.
Provides support to the local professionals through research efforts. Delivers information and analysis which is used to identify and support marketing opportunities for the organization and its sales professionals.
Targeted areas will be agreed upon by the local professionals and the information captured will be made available to the group.
Responsible for the preparation and production of project/client presentations and reports.
Analyst will issue regular updates to professionals and the updates will take the form of updated maps, breaking news alerts, and newly captured sale/lease comp information.
Responsible for the coordination and development of real estate market, trend, trade area statistical snapshots and insight reports.
Conducts presentations internally and externally as needed to support business development efforts.
May have some coaching and training responsibilities, as well as project leadership responsibilities.
Coordinates with Marketing department for the production of CBRE-branded market reports.
In conjunction with Research Manager, evaluates tools and resources such as third party information and data providers.
Coordinates the handling of broker requests for data and research information.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Geography, and a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents and summarize graphically and in writing. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office.
Possess a positive work attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
