We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and driven Technical Training Instructor based in Milan. You will support our Technician’s primarily in Italy and across Europe by delivering engaging training courses on brand new engine technology and by ensuring that all participants become certified on our products.

This role is perfect for you if you are an experienced Engine Technician looking to share your skills and knowledge or if you an Engineering Graduate with a desire to begin a career in learning and development. We will support you as you become an effective and successful trainer, all we ask is that you are passionate about professional development and you are a natural at motivating others.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Delivering training in a class room environment on Cummins’ products including; engine maintenance, engine build and trouble shooting

  • Motivating a learner group who have varied capabilities, skills and experiences and ensuring that they remain engaged and focused throughout the training course

  • Imparting your knowledge to enable learners to pass the practical and theoretical test and become fully certified to fulfil their role

  • Visiting Cummins’ Dealerships and Customer sites, primarily in Italy and across Europe to deliver training

  • Participating in keeping course materials and handouts up to date and communicate any changes necessary back to the Training Centre

  • Organising the logistics of all necessary training equipment including; documentation, training rooms and any equipment required for the practical test


To succeed in this position, you will have the following skills:

  • Hands-on experience working on engines with both a mechanical and electrical focus

  • Excellent communication skills and natural rapport building abilities

  • Confident presenting to a diverse group of learners of varied capabilities

  • Computer literate including; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

  • Fluent in English and Italian and able to translate technical training material

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

An Engineering degree or substantial industry experience is required to be considered for this position.
