How will you make an impact?
As a Manufacturing Operator – Injection Molding team member you will be responsible for participating in and supporting all Operations functions in a clean room environment. You will carry out the functions and roles by closely following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instruction Documents. This position requires following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
What will you do?
Follow all safety requirements and CGMP requirements
Follow work instruction documents, standard operating procedures and standard works
Assemble product using specific written instructions, blueprints and drawings
Assemble product using adhesives such as Loctite and Cyclohexanone
Record correct and accurate documentation in Production Control Documents
Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities
Assist in training function of co-workers and mentoring
Responsible for performing numerous assembly processes according to product prints
Operate both manual and semi-automatic machinery
Package and label finished product according to product specification
Responsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products
Assist with planning and scheduling
Assist lead with shift start up and hand off
Assist with paperwork at startups and shutdowns
Prepare parts and supplies to maintain output
Assist in all areas of production when necessary
Fill in for Lead when necessary
How will you get here?
Education:
- HS Diploma or GED required
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Good verbal/written communication
Ability to follow complex procedures
Adherence to Good Manufacturing Principles
2 years production experience (preferred)
Injection Mold/Molding experience is a plus
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Work in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as needed in order to meet production schedule adherence goals
Work in a clean-room which is a controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise
Must be able to wear gowning which includes: gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like
Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene
Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling and cutting
