  • Wholesale Banking* provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

The Wholesale Portfolio and Program Management Office (WPMO) provides project, program and portfolio execution delivery and management to the Wholesale Banking organization and is an extenuation of the Enterprise PMO. The WPMO is seeking a qualified leader for the Loan Account Platform initiative, an significant sub-initiative under the Wholesale Lending Transformation program. The focus of the effort is to implement a strategic accounting and servicing solution for Wholesale Lending, ensuring that infrastructure, configuration, interfaces, training, and migration requirements are defined and met, to accomplish strategic business objectives.

The responsibilities of this position will focus on planning, initiation, execution, communication and delivery of program objectives. This role will have program-wide responsibilities for leading and overseeing all aspects of planning and delivery, and will work closely with business leaders across Wholesale, Technology, and various partner areas.

In addition to direct program management duties, the position will: 1) have HR/management responsibilities for a small team including performance reviews and development planning, 2) work with leadership to establish strategic plans and prioritization of the program, 3) provide financial oversight and management of budgets and forecasts, 4) provide direction and coaching to team members and project stakeholders, 5) escalate and communicate program/project status, issues, and risks, and 6) interface with multiple levels of the organization in executing the delivery of objectives. The position reports to the Lending and Credit Portfolio Leader within the WPMO. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully delivering complex programs/projects and have a background in commercial lending/credit process and loan accounting/servicing functions and systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing large, cross functional projects. Ideal candidate will have experience in Wholesale Lending and Credit process, and specifically with loan accounting/servicing functions and systems.

  • Responsible for leading project teams and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation planning,executing/controlling, and closing) associated with high visibility projects that are long-term, across one or more lines of business and carry a substantial impact to the relevant businesses.

  • Experience in staff management duties including performance evaluation and staff development.

  • Consults with business partners to clarify and define complex project requirements, budgets and business cases to align with strategic objectives.

  • Creates and delivers presentations on program/project goals, benefits, plans, status, risks, and issues.

  • Responsible for end to-end program or project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end.

  • Develops and implements program-level processes, procedures and performance metrics.

  • Ensures program/project-related risks are managed according to the Project Management Policy.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • 5+ years of management experience
