What you will be doing:
The Oracle Human Resources - Communications, Information, and Learning Services team is looking for a new Cybrarian/Learning Services Specialist to drive information and learning projects, including:
Designing and creating effective learning solutions (i.e. programs, campaigns, learning paths, learning videos, etc.) by working with internal stakeholders to understand their business objectives and learning goals, defining the information and learning plan to meet those objectives, and executing to deliver.
Researching and curating information and learning content from a variety of internal and external sources for use in business and HR learning campaigns, newsletters, learning paths, strategic research projects, employee portal search optimization, etc.
Participating in the evaluation, implementation, measurement, and management of information vendors delivering a variety of business, technical and leadership development content through sources such as eBooks, videos, articles and news, online learning, and other formats.
Tracking and analyzing data; helping to build business cases; measuring the impact and effectiveness of information and learning services strategies, solutions, programs, and campaigns; and refining strategies based on data insights.
Applying effective project management skills to establish and manage multiple workstreams, define and validate project requirements, establish project plans and schedules, secure budget approvals, monitor and control deliverable quality, identify and resolve issues and risks, and effectively communicate with stakeholders and leaders to successfully deliver on projects.
Collaborating with team members, stakeholders, leaders, and subject matter experts to improve Oracle s learning experience and build a continuous learning culture.
Continuously learn, evaluate, and innovate to improve the value and efficiency of the services and deliverables of the HR Communications, Information, and Learning Services team.
Skills you will need:
6 years experience working in information and learning services, corporate information/library/knowledge, learning and development
Deep understanding of information services content providers and research strategies (ex. Market research, LinkedIn Learning, O Reilly, Harvard, Coursera)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with all levels and personalities
High level of strategic thinking
Research and analytics background
Experience with development and management of information architectures; applying a user centered design approach to content work a plus
Experience researching, exploring and/or implementing emerging information and learning technologies (ex. Learning Experience Platforms, chatbots, MOOCs, learning records stores)
Tech-savvy individual, able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
Proven experience using Adobe Captivate and Camtasia or other best of breed authoring tools, such as Vyond, to create engaging and effective videos
Qualified candidates will have a combination of the following education and work experience:
Library and Information science
Instructional design / eLearning
Knowledge of the HR function and technology industry a plus
