The Associate Partner role will be responsible for extensive sales, financial and operational leadership to successfully manage this business offering. Candidate must be a strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills, exceptional problem solving abilities, and a keen client needs assessment aptitude. In addition, this leader must work well in a matrix environment; championing the value of Talent Development internally and externally while maintaining strong client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Create and iteratively optimize engaging T&E global content, continually push the envelope on shape and essence of content created. Content created will include (but not limited to) blogs, conference presentations, external articles, T&E point of view speaking points, videos, infographics, offering collateral, etc.

  • Coordinate and partner with GBS marketing, offering management and extended enablement teams to curate, create, tailor and promote relevant enablement content, training and communications to global T&E sales.

  • Deliver unique/compelling point of views (POVs), strategic messaging and leadership proof points improving our market position, competitive advantage and business results.

  • Collaborate with IOTs in areas of Alliance identification, development, management, contract and relationship oversight.

  • Influence analyst research on practice, its competitors and the markets that IBM competes in; shape the perception of IBM and the value it brings to its customers; improve analyst rating in influential reports and evaluations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Creative thinking with ability to establish new strategies and approaches where they may not currently exist

  • Executive presence to counsel to senior management regarding the market, competitive landscape and analyst outlook. Candidates must have the tenacity, determination and patience to be able to challenge conventional thinking and processes.

  • Proven communications skill

  • Keen project management and organizational skills

  • Comfortable to lead with passion in ambiguous situations

  • Able to work effectively in a matrix environment

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in services marketing
