We are currently seeking Higher Education Financial Aid Consultant for our growing Workday Higher Education Practice. In this role, you will work with clients to understand business requirements and implement Workday Financial Aid solutions for clients in a consulting environment. Successful candidates will provide functional process knowledge and product expertise, and have the ability to translate Workday and client terms so that all participants can contribute to implementation success.
Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements
Design and implement requirements in the Workday Student solution
Configure the Workday solution
Demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems
Work with clients to help convert legacy data into Workday and assist clients in testing the Workday solution
Leverage prior Student Information System (SIS) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience
Provide subject matter expertise regarding key business process decisions related to industry and/or functional areas
Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements
Work with the Delivery Assurance team to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpoints
Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status
Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices
Identify opportunities to position additional service offerings to clients
Participate in update training and other events that help share one’s product skills with other consultants

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with clients. As such, travel to client sites may be required up to 4 days per week. Preferred candidates will live within a 50 mile radius of a major airport.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 1-2 years of experience in the Higher Education Student Financial Aid functional area
At least 1-2 years of experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering
At least 1-2 years of experience deploying Student Financial Aid applications
Knowledge of the Higher Education industry and business environment
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 3 years of experience in the following functional area: Student Financial Aid
At least 3 years of experience implementing Student solutions in a Higher Education environment (i.e. Ellucian, Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Jenzabar)
At least 3 years of experience in business processes including analysis and requirements gathering
At least 3 years of experience working in a consulting environment, preferably with a software or consulting organization
Previous experience as a College Financial Aid Counselor or Administrator
