Verizon Full Stack Developer in Miramar, Florida

What you’ll be doing...

Verizon Business Markets (VBM) is a newly created strategic business unit within Operations, to serve the wireline communications and networking technology needs of U.S.-based small and medium businesses, and state and local government. The Digital organization within IT will be focused on enabling an eco-system that hones in on digitizing the customer experience through technology with a cloud/mobile first tenet, and analytics to enable new products, directional product bundles, and third party solution – all to enable new revenue streams.

  • Working in a fast paced environment that fosters growth and learning.

  • Designing, developing and testing application software to modify existing architecture or implementing new architecture.

  • Conforming to existing industry and Verizon security coding standards adhering to source code scan and other security tool review requirements.

  • Making necessary changes to the system interfaces utilizing Verizon’s DevOps source code libraries and configuration management procedures.

  • Setting up and integrating software applications and providing post-rollout application support for assigned projects.

  • Installing, configuring and administering DevSecOps technologies in support of secure development lifecycle.

  • Building tools and automation scripts that enable developers to efficiently consume security services.

  • Driving security by design through automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.

  • Assessing and providing recommendations regarding current and proposed architectures and systems.

  • Supporting migration of application software to public cloud. Taking a user-centered design approach and rapidly testing and iterating your designs.

  • Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to gain product knowledge.

  • Providing technologically viable and innovative design solutions, and providing clear designs and documentation for the development team.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

  • Experience with JavaScript libraries (JQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS), XML/XSLT, HTML, CSS.

  • Experience in the business practices within the Customer Systems modules (Marketing, Loyalty, Email Campaigns, Customer Segmentation and Analytics).

  • Experience w/ MS .NET, C#, Full-Stack; experience with MS SQL Server or other DB products.

  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Knowledge in user experience and design principals.

  • Knowledge in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).

  • Good understanding of ML/AI- AWS knowledge.

  • Excellent quantitative, problem-solving, technical and analytical skills.

  • Natural tendency to seek and explore writing trends for digital experiences.

  • Functional product knowledge of Adobe Experience manager.

  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.

  • Capability to understand and work High / Low fidelity Wire frames.

  • Capability to understand UX patterns.

  • Good knowledge on Accessibility and Usability concepts.

  • Capability to communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and other team members.

  • Ability to work on any Backend technologies for UI development and be a team player.
