This opportunity is for an individual with SAP experience in Materials Management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping IBM to continue being recognized as the premier SAP solutions implementer in North America.

Responsibilities for the position include:

• Responsible for organizing and leading team members in development of processes, implementing project deliverables, with an emphasis on quality, productivity and consistency

• Developing work plans, managing deadlines and coordination with other teams

• Communicating status of team

• Assessment of business and application requirements

• Driving the development of functional and system specifications (RICEFW)

• Conducting fit/gap analysis and business process modeling

• Configuring the software to business requirements

• Developing and executing tests to confirm the functionality

• Maintaining necessary documentation

• Actively performing knowledge transfer to clients

• Communicating in a team environment with clients and colleagues

• Providing support for deployment and sustainment as necessary

SAPCAN

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3 or more full project lifecycle implementations of SAP Materials Management (MM) functionality, experience with both MM-IM and MM-Purchasing is a must

  • Extensive experience designing and configuring the key integration points Materials Management module and other SAP modules

  • Global Project experience

  • Strong familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies – experience

  • Experience using the ASAP implementation methodology

  • French: Fluent

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

• Experience in leading teams in the delivery of SAP functionality in a project environment

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to multi-task within a dynamic workplace

• Strong Pulp & Paper industry experience an asset

• Thorough experience and knowledge of consulting practices and techniques

• A comprehensive understanding of Source to Pay business processes.

• The ability to develop strong relationships with clients

• 20% Travel requirement to United States
