TeleTech Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and Human Capital in Montreal, Canada
TTEC (formerly TeleTech) is seeking aSenior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Human Capitalto join our Enterprise Services team. The preferred location for this role is Montreal, Quebec.
*What you’ll be doing: *
The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition/ Human Capital aids in designing and executing our TA strategy to support high volume recruitment across multiple provinces in Canada as well as manages a team of HC Generalists to meet human capital needs such as identifying human capital solutions that will enhance bottom-line results and improve employee related gross margin and employee retention. The role will partner with TTEC’s TA Marketing team to develop a robust sourcing strategy to attract top talent and meet operational hiring demands. The Senior Manager will also ensure that their team of 5-10 recruiters are following all Talent Acquisition related processes and utilizing technology systems appropriately. This role will require the ability to quickly adapt plans and shift directions in order to meet changing business requirements. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for forming and maintain positive relationships with internal Operations stakeholders meeting with site leadership regularly to identify challenges and problems that can be addressed by Human Capital, and assist the HC Director to develop strategy and organize the team to respond to these challenges while maintaining a high level of customer service to all stakeholders. This role will also ensure 100% compliance with all local laws and regulations. This is challenging position that is suited for a highly-energy individual who can motivate their team to consistently meet aggressive goals.
What you’ll bring to us:
Overall accountability for associate level recruitment in Canada
Leads a recruiting team of 5-10 recruiters by providing day-to-day control and direction on applicant assessment, selection and offer, and 2-5 generalists to develop plans to support change management, turnover reduction, improved employee relations, management development, process reengineering, compensation restructuring, employee transition plans, or any other HC support necessary to meet business goals
Responsible for hiring 300-500 associates per month
Collaborates with Operations leadership on all recruitment needs within Canada to ensure associate hiring and business support vacancies are filled timely and ensure profile alignment
From time to time, participates in presentations to existing and potential clients on high volume recruiting methodologies, sourcing strategies and applicant assessment, employee retention strategies, or other HC related data, process, etc.
100% compliance with and implementation of HC technology, programs and processes within CAN
What skills you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
HR Certification preferred (though not required)
5-10 years HR Manager experience (call center industry preferred)
Previous experience supporting 3,000 employee population
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT, etc.)
Strong knowledge in multiple TA/HC disciplines (marketing, talent assessment, compensation, recruiting, employee relationship, legal, etc.).
8 years strong experience in high-volume recruitment
3 years strong experience in a manager level role responsible for a team of recruiters and human capital professionals
Expertise of CAN labor law (QC, PEI, NB, ON, and possibly other provinces based on expansion)
Proven ability to build relationships of trust with executive-level leaders. Ability to influence leaders and team members of differing viewpoints to create positive outcomes
High level of integrity and judgment
Ability to manage multiple, complex, on-going projects
Ability to minimize the number and severity of employment claims against TTEC.
Knowledge of business technologies, metrics, local and state employment laws
Knowledge of healthcare licensing strongly preferred
Strong email and oral communication skills
Process Improvement Certification is a nice to have (six sigma, ISO 9000, etc.)
