Marsh & McLennan Workday Engagement Manager in Montreal, Canada

Job Description:

Workday Engagement Mangers are responsible for managing the deployment of Workday’s solutions following the Workday deployment methodology. They will work cross-functionally with Consults, Resource Managers and other Services organizations to assemble project teams and then ensure that the Workday project teams have the training, tools and support to successfully deliver Workday projects.

The Workday Engagement Manager is accountable for the successful implementation of the Workday solution, measured in customer satisfaction, deployment speed, and deployment effort accuracy. In addition, the Workday Engagement Manager may work with sales leadership to develop business through positioning and selling services for new and existing customers. This includes assistance with project estimation, supporting the business development team to address detailed deployment questions, and reviewing/approving statements of work.

The Workday Engagement Manager will also be responsible for developing strong relationships with consulting partners in the region. The Workday Engagement Manager will be measured on project referencability, customer satisfaction, forecasting accuracy, and revenue / margin goals.

Responsibilities:

Acts as escalation point for project escalations and provides expertise on ensuring delivery quality for Workday project deliverables. Ensure Delivery project teams are following best practices and adhering to Workday processes and policies. Monitors and drives adherence to practice policies and metrics including forecasting accuracy and revenue goals. Assist with Workday services sales process to provide expertise on deployment approaches, project staffing plans and SOW estimates as needed Collaborates with Professional Services organization on determining capacity to meet demand for Engagement Management and consulting services. Ability to travel as needed QualificationsSkill:

Passion for team and customer success 5+ years’ experience in software implementation services 5+ years experience in one or more of the following: HCM, Payroll and Financials 2+ years project & people management 5+ years implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Banner or similar application Fluent in written and spoken French and English Experience in Higher Education and/or Government is a plus Excellent communication skills including experience engaging with C-level executives Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage a team of manager(s) and individual contributors at multiple levels within an organization Team player who can collaborate across organization with willingness to be “hands on” to assist when needed Ability to proactively address issues, develop solutions/options to these issues and take ownership of the result to drive successful project outcomes Ability to scale professional services organization with aggressive annual growth targets and demonstrated ability to hire, onboard and retain team Excellent communication, management, mentoring, and organizational skills Undergraduate degree is required Mercer delivers advice and technology-driven solutions that help organizations meet the health, wealth and career needs of a changing workforce.
