You will join our eMobility Division, which is currently experiencing huge growth following various recent major wins. eMobility designs and manufactures energy converters for the electrical vehicle market.

Regional Manufacturing Launch Manager

Location: Montrottier, FR (Lyon)

eMobility is seeking a Regional Manufacturing Launch Manager to lead, plan and execute all regional new product launches into Manufacturing in the EMEA region.

Reporting to eMobility's regional leader, and partnering with the plant staff, this dynamic leader position will lead the launch task teams to strategize, plan, and execute on the program timeline and deliverables.

This position will also help develop strategic plans for the transformation of regional manufacturing plants to automotive supplier standards and optimize the manufacturing layout, technologies, processes and systems in support of the regional business plan, objectives and customer pursuits.

Essential functions:

  • Develop and execute masterplan for the transformation of existing manufacturing sites to become best-in-class automotive suppliers

  • Manage launch strategies and planning amongst key stakeholders, including but not limited to senior leadership, plant staff, sales, customer, and Engineering.

  • Develop and lead industrialization launch teams towards flawless execution of manufacturing launch of innovative eMobility products.

  • Create recommendations for industrialization and automation of specified product. Partner with Engineering teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability.

  • Manage all costs, and capital expenses for the production launch.

  • Ensure Plant Manufacturing Process is efficient, feasible, lean and profitable.

  • Partner with supply chain to ensure program launches are adequately supported, including tooling and costs, and ensure BOM cost, zero defect (quality) aligns with program profitability.

  • Run efficient project reviews at all levels of the organization. Manage project communication in terms of both successes and opportunities for improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, relevant IATF & ISO

Qualifications

  • Bachelors, preferably in Industrialization or Engineering

  • Program/Project management and launch experience preferred; Operations, Operational excellence, Manufacturing Engineering or plant leadership experience required

  • Preferable production/manufacturing engineering management experience in automotive or automotive electronics"

  • "Electronics, automotive industry experience preferred; experience managing programs

Desired:

  • Technical, and Quality background; Multi - Staff technical experience required;

  • Good knowledge of Six Sigma / Black Belt / Green Belt preferred

  • PROLanuch practical knowledge

  • Experience in Project Management methodologies, process and tools

  • Other skills as assigned in Skill Matrix

  • Innovation Management; Intellectual Horsepower and Creativity, Interpersonal skills;

  • English and French language fluency

  • Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skill

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization

  • Ability to work globally with cross-cultural teams
