Eaton Corporation Manager Financial Planning and Analysis in Moon Township, Pennsylvania
Eaton’s Electrical Product Group is seeking a Manger Financial Planning and Analysis for its Circuit Protection Division. The Manager Financial Planning and Analysis position will be located at its Moon Township facility.
Position Overview :
Drive the monthly financial closing, via the collection, assembly and analysis of data from various sources. Complete month end reports and respond to internal customer inquiries of financial results.
Compare operational data and financial reports to prior periods, forecasts or objectives. Furnish the data to the VP of Finance in a timely manner, highlighting areas of concern and providing potential alternative courses of action through the development and subsequent interpretation of the financial information.
Investigate variances and evaluate their effect on planned objectives. Proactively investigate questionable entries and advise management of potential problems.
Maintain and analyze monthly entries to budgets and balance sheet accounts which include the processing of accounting entries and the analysis of charges for accuracy and correctness of account distribution. Assume responsibility for review of assigned balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure all GAAP and SOX compliance requirements are met.
Serve as the key financial contact for the Global Marketing organization.
Maintain statistical headcount data, preserve integrity of fixed assets through internal controls, analyze proper tax classifications, assist in monthly forecasting of expenses, provide analysis as required on an ad hoc basis, and remain involved with intercompany account balances.
Research, compile and analyze financial data. Present summarized results, analysis and recommendations to management. Serve as financial business partner to CPD Leadership Team in the monthly review of the division financials by preparing and communicating insightful analysis for review.
Focus on continuous business process improvements, challenge current processes/procedures to determine if improvements are deemed appropriate and consequently implement process improvements.
Work cross-functionally to drive improvement in financial processes through tools/systems, automation and standardization.
Other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Forward thinking capability on long and short term projects, decisions, and overall strategic mindset.
Manage FLDP Program with Early Talent COE colleagues
Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business or economics.
Minimum 3 years related experience in financial planning or general accounting.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Knowledge of Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
