Sr. MDM Software Developer
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Manages the strategic plans and tactical activities for assigned information systems and business unit systems projects.
Extensive hands-on experience designing and developing all aspects of MDM solutions using industry leading tools from Informatica and IBM.
Acts as subject matter expert across multiple applications, systems and technologies leveraging technical and business knowledge to drive the planning and execution of complex initiatives.
Responsibilities include performing complex analysis, expert level design, configuration and programming functions for impactful and visible projects.
Leads investigation and resolution efforts for critical, high impact problems, defects, and incidents.
Contributes to staffing and project plan estimations in collaboration with the project manager and other key stakeholders.
Assesses the technical viability of projects and objectives.
Acts as a technology advocate and independently seeks opportunities where technology can be utilized to improve the business.
Builds, maintains, and utilizes partnerships across the enterprise ensuring the best use of resources.
Provides technical leadership, fosters a team environment, and provides mentorship and feedback to technical resources.
Manages the effective use of line of business resources to implement ongoing projects, enhancements, initiatives, and/or problem resolution.
Applies knowledge of current industry trends and techniques to formulate solutions within the context of assigned projects.
Good Knowledge of Informatica MDM including, IDD, HM, match and merge process.
Well versed in the following data domains: Master Data, Operational Data, Analytical Data, Unstructured Data, and Metadata.
Ensures project team's work complies with Travelers standards, processes, and protocols.
Other duties as assigned.

Travelers eBusiness is in search of a self-motivated, MDM SME to join our MDM and shared data team. The Senior MDM Developer will be responsible for implementing Informatica MDM solutions for various business units and will act as an MDM subject matter expert across multiple applications, systems and technologies, leveraging technical and business knowledge to drive the planning and execution of complex initiatives.
As part of an Agile team, you will work across various business units to develop, integrate and evolve MDM product platform for the organization.
The candidate must be able to perform the job functions independently with limited supervision; participate in the design/development process; provide technical leadership on complex projects; lead investigation and resolution efforts for critical, high impact problems and incidents.
This job is a technical lead.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
7 years of programming/development experience preferred.
Experience as a technical lead preferred.
5+ years of MDM work experience.
Experience must include defining standardization rules, match and merge rules, configuring thresholds, configuring events and integration of data to and from the MDM
Deep understanding of MDM SIF APIs or BES for real time integration or near real-time integration of MDM with external applications
Experience with Informatica MDM V10, 9.x is must.
Experience with multi domain implementations.
Experience in messaging and web service integrations.
Experience with Oracle RDMBS.
Experience tuning all aspects of MDM processing.
Knowledge of or experience with data quality tools like Informatica IDQ or IBM Qualitystage.
Prefer some experience with Oracle DB tuning.
Unix and/or other scripting experience.
Prefer experience developing operations support guides
An Agile mindset with experience working in an Agile environment.
Familiarity with tools such as Rally and Jira.
A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication.
Ability to present technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
Commitment to high quality work and timely deliverables.

High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of programming/development experience required.
