Junior Consultant - Product Lifecycle Management
As part of the Oracle PLM EMEA Practice your role will be to work with customers to analyse, design and implement PLM solutions. You will be providing PLM process leadership and advising customers on the most appropriate configuration approaches to support their business as well as best practices from their industry. You will be part of a highly motivated and growing team where teamwork and knowledge sharing are key. Products and technologies used include Agile PLM, Prodika (PLM for Process), Oracle Database, OAS and other Oracle Products and Technologies.
Act as the design authority and owner for the application configuration.
Translate customer requirements into deliverable products and services.
Assist in the development of a comprehensive implementation plan.
Escalate client issues to the relevant contact in Oracle.
Install and configure PLM solutions to support the customer’s business needs.
Prepare documentation detailing the solution configuration.
Lead system reviews with customer team.
Optimize the system configuration per customer feedback.
Develop and present follow on recommendations to help customers leverage their investment in the PLM solution.
Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities.
Acts as a liaison between customers and ORACLE.
Ensure that project activities are providing clear value to customers.
Communicate customer feedback to the ORACLE product development team.
Participate in the Oracle Community of Practices.
Prepare project proposals and estimates.
Proactively maintain knowledge of Oracle’s current and future products/solutions offerings.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Technical knowledge in the following areas of Software Development:
Oracle Database Systems and Languages (SQL, PL/SQL, …)
Operatings System (UNIX, Windows)
XML/XSL - Implementation
Experience with Application Tuning
Confident and effective communication skills with executives, project team members, partners, and end users.
Able to effectively lead solution design workshops.
Energetic and motivated contributor.
Able to work independently.
Excellent German language skills
Advanced English language skills
A proven consulting track record within a major Enterprise application environment.
Prior experience (5 years) in a professional services environment with at least 3 years with responsibilities in the areas of analyzing and designing customer specific solutions.
Functional business process experience in managing product data across the supply chain, throughout the product life cycle.
- Bachelor's or Master´s degree in computer science.

Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.
As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
