By leveraging your deep financial

and business process knowledge and your expertise in modern ERP and EPM

With your Sales Representative you

will build professional customer relationships and inspire your customers to

modernize their business processes through your solution and domain expertise.

You will master and maintain detailed knowledge of Oracle’s ERP and EPM

solutions and be able to orchestrate and contribute to complex RFX processes

and POCs.

Key to your success will be your

skill to envision the benefits of modern cloudbased Finance ERP and/or EPM

solutions up to the CFO level of your customers and convincing your audience

about the compelling benefits of a modernized ERP system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Together with your corresponding Sales

Representative you will be the key player in the sales process and also

providing direction and mentoring to others. This is involving the application

of advanced business skills in area of Finance but also the ability to create

compelling visions for your customers to show the value of Oracle Financials

Cloud solutions. You will conduct customer solution discovery workshops and

demonstrate the superiority of your solutions to realize the customer benefits.

With the rest of the solution

consulting team, you will be responsible for Oracles top clients in Germany,

across all industries. Part of your role will also be to create and influence

the German market by speaking on fairs and larger customer events.

Travel will be required when

visiting customers in all German regions (up to 50% - mainly one-day trips).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree (or

equivalent)

  • Ideally 3-5 years in a presales

role at a major software vendor or 5 years in a consulting role in the Finance

Domain or 5 years domain expertise in a large company.

  • Fluent German and English language

skills

  • Experience of at least one major

ERP or Enterprise Performance Management solution.

  • Excellent knowledge of German and

International Accounting Standards and regulation

  • In-depth knowledge of key finance

processes: Planning, Accounting, Controlling, Consolidation, Reporting

Auditing.

  • Experience developing and

presenting clear and concise solution briefings.

  • Optional: Operational experience

in a controller/finance role

This position can be based out of

Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Berlin or Hamburg. You will receive excellent

product and methodology training to ensure your successful start within the

Oracle solution consulting team!

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
