The Job Overview: As member of the Knowledge Services Research department you will support the Automotive and Manufacturing consulting business with a variety of market information and market analysis as well as with the development of research tools. This Research Analyst role is embedded within Oliver Wyman’s successful Automotive and Manufacturing Practice and requires regular interactions with Practice Leaders and Senior practice-aligned Consultants. Key Responsibilities: Translation of complex business requirements in the field of Automotive and Manufacturing into actionable research strategies, using our databases and the internet Conducting market-/ competition analyses and summary and evaluation of research findings Synthesis and packaging of research deliverables employing Excel and PowerPoint to create impactful presentations Through development of own research tools processing, analysis and visualization of large data amounts Data Management – working with frequently used external data sets and client data, managing models and internal benchmarks Direct project support in collaboration with our Research Specialists and consultants Participation in internal projects to optimize sources, processes, services Who we are looking for: You have an excellent degree, e.g., in business informatics You have up to two years of research and / or programming experience in a professional context, e.g., via internships You will have a keen interest for business and economics topics, as well as a curious and analytical mindset Excellent German and English language skills, other languages a plus, e.g., French or Mandarin Engaged personality who enjoys working in an international business environment R072057-de R072057
