American Water Installation Coordinator in Naperville, Illinois

Primary Role

The install coordinator position is to prepare, balance and process all customer paperwork including customer financing and equipment rebate registrations. Install coordinator will be repsonsible for providing excellent customer service and handle any post installation concerns.

Key Accountabilities

Functional Expertise:

  • Data entry of all work orders from the install technicians

  • Maintain and update schedule board with all sold jobs and communicate scheduling issues up to management.

  • Ensure all jobs have permits and the company permit procedures have been followed to secure permits in a timely manner.

  • Return customer calls in a timely manner, resolving all open issues and report back to management.

  • Driving Results:*

  • Highly organized with excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, focus on problem soliving, follow through and follow-up.

  • Business Acumen:*

  • Schedule quality assurance appointments after every install.

  • Create job folder for every install, ensure financing is processed successfully in a timely manner.

  • Assist in completing accurate and timely paperwork.

  • Professionally represents the company through phone, e-mail and direct contact.

  • Engagement:*

  • Work closely with lead installer and manager to hep the team complete jobs on time and under budget, helping achieve company's financial goals.

  • Works well and communicates effectively with others.

  • Collaborates with internal customers to resolve any internal or external issues.


  • MS Office proficiency

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Must demonstrate ability to remain flexible at all times.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Field Service preferred.

  • HVAC knowledge preferred.


  • HS diploma or GED required.

  • Previous experience in similar role preferred.

Work Environment

  • Abiity to work extended hours, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
