Home Depot FIELD MEASURE TECH - NAPLES FL in Naples, Florida

POSITION PURPOSE

The Field Measure Technician works independently in the field supporting Home Depot's Measurement Services. Field Measure Techs are directly responsible for traveling locally to customer's homes to conduct flooring measurements. Measure Techs play a key role prior to the installations process in conjunction with the Measurement Services center. Measure Techs are directly responsible for providing a positive customer experience and transmitting accurate measurements by a CAD tablet to create computer generated floor plans.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

90% - Providing customer service by assessing customer needs, conducting onsite home flooring measurements and transmitting accurate measurements to create a computer generated floor plan.

10% - Review and edit of drawings in the measurement tablet.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area when performing job duties. Majority of the day is spent driving in personal vehicle. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Must pass a Background Check.

Must pass a Drug Test

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: Less than 1 year, Training provided.

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Previous customer service, retail, home improvement, or field related work experience is a plus.
