JOB SUMMARY:

Functioning as a liaison between IT&S and other business areas, you will define solution requirements and guide the implementation of IT solutions to solve business problems and align with business strategic and operational objectives. You will play a key role in discovering, developing, refining, implementing, testing and measuring the benefits of these solutions. If you are the ideal candidate you will have worked with Application Developers on the front end of a project understanding the business needs using Agile methodology in a healthcare setting or have clinical trial experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will support the business owners in all matters related to application enhancements and application issues. • You will help create, maintain, and update product information, and act as an expert internally and externally. • You will work with business team and key stakeholders to define scope, costs and timelines for updating existing products and implementing new products. • Assist in identification, documentation, and evaluation of product roadmaps. • Work with product development team or vendor to understand product feasibility and limitations, architecture and integrations. • Responsible for ensuring that the delivered system is properly tested and meets the product requirements. • Creates and facilitates approval of deliverables associated with the implementation of technical solutions including, but not limited to, data flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, impact assessments, requirement documentation, test plans, test scripts, traceability matrices, and implementation summaries • Collaborates with stakeholders, support resources, vendors, and end users to design functional product details and changes, identify and escalate issues, and ultimately ensure product requirements are met. • Manage changes to applications, assessing the impact of changes, and ensuring appropriate approval of those changes to ensure solutions achieve desired business results. • Build and maintain product configuration and associated documentation. • Provide tier 2 customer support to the end users to independently resolve issues and communicate status. • Adhere to defined SOPs required to maintain a validated computer system. • Creates and maintains application support documentation, including disaster recovery, user provisioning, application functionality and architecture • Participates in activities which improve departmental and organizational performance • Perform other duties as assigned.

• Requires knowledge of requirements gathering and documentation practices, as well as software development methodologies. • Successful experiences in understanding end-user business perspectives and translating to create specifications and business process improvements • Strong collaboration, facilitation, data analysis and negotiation skills • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a variety of media • Extreme attention to detail in producing quality deliverables. • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships while managing multiple priorities. • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technologies, methods, and processes. • Professional demeanor and positive attitude; customer service orientation. • Ability to proactively take ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish goals.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years IT product development background. • Clinical research experience is a plus. • Computer System Validation process knowledge preferred
