Summary of Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible for supporting business development (BD) opportunities for SCRI Development Innovations including the business oversight and management of SCRI Development Innovations RFIs and RFPs. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining systems and processes to identify, track and pursue business opportunities and ongoing studies with Sponsor organizations. This individual reports to the Portfolio Manager, SCRI Development Innovations.

Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to: * Develop and maintain biotech/pharma database with current, actionable data including: o Company demographics o Key Personnel o News, Press Releases o Drug development pipelines * Analyze biotech/pharma database for trends and opportunities * Maintain SCRI’s study pipeline with current status of study leads, proposals, award and contracts * Provide reports as needed to support the Business Development program * Support planning, preparation and execution of conferences, road-shows, visits, calls, meetings and presentations as required * Support interface between SCRI Development Innovations and SCRI Finance, in regard to budgets and contracts * Support business development and relationship management activities with Pharma partners for SCRI Development Innovations * Support completion of RFI/RFP’s for SCRI Development Innovations, including; o Working with SCRI Development Innovations Leadership Team, Program Managers, Physician Leaders and other relevant team members to seek feedback on key assumptions and criteria o Initiation of Sponsor study budget preparation by SCRI Finance o With SCRI Legal and SCRI Finance, supports process to ensure change orders, contracts, and agreements are executed for all SCRI Development Innovations Projects * Works on new initiatives and special projects as directed by Portfolio Manager Mandatory: * Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement” * During your employment with SCRI you will be routinely assigned training requirements.
