Sarah Cannon Research Institute is the research arm of HCA Healthcare’s global cancer institute, Sarah Cannon. Sarah Cannon’s network of strategic sites includes more than 275 physicians who engage in research. Summary of Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible for supporting business development (BD) opportunities for Sarah Cannon Development Innovations including the business oversight and management of SCRI Development Innovations RFIs and RFPs. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining systems and processes to identify, track and pursue business opportunities and ongoing studies with Sponsor organizations. This individual reports to the Portfolio Manager, Sarah Cannon Development Innovations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to: • Develop and maintain biotech/pharma database with current, actionable data including: * Company demographics * Key Colleagues * News, Press Releases * Drug development pipelines • Analyze biotech/pharma database for trends and opportunities • Maintain Sarah Cannon’s study pipeline with current status of study leads, proposals, award and contracts • Provide reports as needed to support the Business Development program • Support planning, preparation and execution of conferences, road-shows, visits, calls, meetings and presentations as required • Support interface between Sarah Cannon Development Innovations and Sarah Cannon Finance, in regard to budgets and contracts • Support business development and relationship management activities with Pharma partners for Sarah Cannon Development Innovations • Support completion of RFI/RFP’s for Sarah Cannon Development Innovations, including; * Working with Sarah Cannon Development Innovations Leadership Team, Program Managers, Physician Leaders and other relevant team members to seek feedback on key assumptions and criteria * Initiation of Sponsor study budget preparation by Sarah Cannon Finance * With Sarah Cannon Legal and Sarah Cannon Finance, supports process to ensure change orders, contracts, and agreements are executed for all Sarah Cannon Development Innovations Projects • Works on new initiatives and special projects as directed by Portfolio Manager • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

_Education:_ Minimum Required:Bachelor’s College Degree (4 year program) Preferred:Bachelor’s College Degree (4 year program)

_Experience:_ Minimum Required: * At least 1-2 years of corporate experience * MS Office Suite Experience (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) * Must be able to present and communicate to senior executives and senior leaders including C-Suite * Strong organizational skills * Experience in data input for reporting and metrics purposes Preferred: * Clinical Research or healthcare experience preferred * Salesforce experience preferred * Experience working across multiple cross functional teams in a corporate setting (i.e. legal department, finance, etc.)
