Summary of Key Responsibilities: This position will be the subject matter expert of oncology accreditations. This position is responsible for managing the Data & Accreditation Managers in their respective Group (American / National).

Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to: * Development of standardized processes to ensure American College of Surgeons (ACOS) accreditations are standardized throughout the organization. * Development of standardized toolkits around adherence to specific programmatic standards to ensure maintenance of ACOS accreditation. * Development of standardized Scorecard and communication process to key facility and division oncology leaders to evaluate program success. * Evaluate current clinical data landscape. Identify opportunities to address clinical needs through current and new data sets, business intelligence toolsets, and analytics capabilities. * Monitor all quality measures as determined by Sarah Cannon leadership. * Work with business stakeholders to recognize clinical requirements and expected outcomes necessary to elevate oncology programs broadly within HCA. * Escalate to and collaborate with the Sarah Cannon Director of Cancer Registry, on progress, issues and risks to help identify accreditation risks. * Ability to communicate with all levels of Sarah Cannon leadership, clinicians, physicians, and ancillary department staff that is essential for this role. * Member of the Sarah Cannon Accreditation Leadership Committee to share best practices and evaluate programmatic status across the organization. * Provides consultation as a subject matter expert as needed to all stakeholders. Knowledge:A body of information needed to perform tasks; May be obtained through education, training or experience * In depth knowledge of American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (COC) Standards, National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) Standards and NQF Measures of Quality. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills:The proficiency to perform a certain task * Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) designation. * Managerial skills required. * Computer skills, including data input, Metriq and other required software. Abilities:An underlying, enduring trait useful for performing duties * Ability to communicate with all levels of Sarah Cannon leadership, clinicians, physicians, and ancillary department staff. * Ability to travel.

Minimum Qualifications

_Education:_ Minimum Required:Associate’s Degree (2 year program)

Preferred:Bachelor’s Degree (4 year program)

_Experience:_ Minimum Required: * COC & NAPBC Accreditations * CTR Certified * 2 years Cancer Registry Operations and at least 1 year of management experience * Clinical trial support or pharmaceutical industry experience * A proactive attitude, work ethic and ability to be flexible in your daily responsibilities as they change from day to day Preferred: * 4 years Cancer Registry Operations and at least 3 years of management experience *If interested in advancing your career with a growing leader in cancer research please apply today!*
