CACI International Technical Trainer in National Harbor, Maryland

Job Description

This position of Internal IT trainer is based at our location at the National Harbor in Maryland. We are looking for a passionate training expert to help take our service desk and end user IT support staff to the next level in service for a customer environment recently migrated to AirWatch, ServiceNow, Windows 10 and Office 365. Specific functions of this position include the ability to “hit the ground running,” establish a training curriculum and deliver it to internal staff.

Position Description

  • Works with operations leads to identify areas of greatest need and establishes associated course content and objectives

  • Develops and delivers training for any one of many skill areas to our technical staff (new hire training, customer service, standard troubleshooting procedures, ServiceNow, Windows 10, Airwatch, Office 365, service delivery fundamentals)

  • Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities

  • Audits effectiveness of training curriculum and provides refreshed and corrective training

  • Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness

  • Develop and deliver technical curriculum and product knowledge across all departments for new hires and professional development for existing team members

  • Track and meet training metrics for time in training and quality of delivery

  • Coach trainees to meet performance requirements

  • Report on the progress and expected milestone dates of new employees

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Able to obtain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 5 - 7 years of relevant experience

  • Relevant experience includes providing training courses specific to IT and service management, providing technical assistance or administering information management resources which includes computer hardware, LANs, applications systems, and connectivity to external systems; developing curriculum, working with computer security hardware and software; installing, maintaining and operating PC's, laptops, printers, etc.; managing various desktop and server operating systems; working with end users to resolve conflicts.

  • Experience preparing technical training materials

  • Experience delivering technical training courses

  • Strong customer service and strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Working knowledge of Win10, Airwatch, ServiceNow and Office 365; creating, updating and closing tickets

  • Experience with computer terms and customer service operations

  • Microsoft MCT

  • A+, Network+, ITIL Foundations
