Job Summary

AECOM’s actively seeking a creative, innovative, and highly motivated Structures Lead for immediate employment in either our Baton Rouge, LA or New Orleans, LA office locations. AECOM is searching for candidates that have the ability to be a role model, be client-focused, be impactful, and be decisive.

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for the following duties:

Manages the structures group in Gulf Coast Area which includes Louisiana, Arkansas & Mississippi

The position will provide the successful candidate the luxury and/or ability to grow the group with local known staff and/or new recruits.

  • Has the ability to identify and attract local talent to increase capacity

  • Leads tasks and technical aspects

  • Ability to mentor and or provide mentor opportunities to staff

  • Coordinates with teams and staff around the GSW region

  • Coordinates with teams and staff around the nation

  • Assists in the identification and capture of new projects

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.

  • 10+ years in transportation delivery

  • PE License

  • Previous experience managing staff or teams or groups

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters in Civil Engineering

  • PE License in the state of Louisiana

  • LA DOTD project delivery experience

  • Experience marketing and pursuing work in Louisiana

  • Alternate Delivery experience

Additional Information:

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

  • Ability to travel to project sites up to 20%
