Marsh & McLennan Administrative Assistant in New York, New York

The Administrative Assistant will support an Executive Assistant by providing an in-depth knowledge of administrative procedures and tools. Incumbent will be capable of grasping a basic understanding of the business service area, clients, key terms and service offerings. The Administrative Assistant has to have the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity. The Administrative Assistant continually strives to promote smooth workflow, ensure client needs are met, and that MMC standards are used in all document production. To fulfill the role, your duties will include:

Provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant of a senior executive in the organization with a variety of tasks as assigned Provide back-up support and full time coverage in EA’s absence Manage executive calendar; schedule meetings and conference calls Provide assistance with the coordination of global travel and document requirements, (passport, visa, trusted traveler, frequent flyer accounts, etc.) Process travel and expense reports in a timely manner and within company guidelines and policies Prioritize work flow independently while maintaining focus on key deliverables Ability to adapt well under pressure and shift priorities with ease Edit and create documents using PowerPoint, Excel & Word while ensuring all documents produced adhere to MMC’s global identity/document standards Adhere to best practices and expense control (i.e., travel rates, office supplies, catering, vendors, etc.). Manage outgoing mail, overnight shipments and other deliveries to clients, vendors or internal recipients Receive and process information of confidential nature and ensure that such information is strictly kept confidential. Interface with Peers and Management across all Levels of the Firm Qualifications Experience:

Must have at least 5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant role Knowledge and skills (general and technical):
